Terms of Service

1. LanternPass is a Directory Only

LanternPass provides an information directory of adult and grey-area nightlife/wellness practitioners and venues in Bangkok and Thailand. All data is sourced exclusively from:

• Published, safety-gated views (lantern_adult_*) in the rovebook-pull D1 (PULL_DB).
• Approved + published self-listings in the lanternpass-owned APP_DB (D1).

We never facilitate, arrange, broker, introduce for payment, or act as intermediary for any services, meetings, or transactions.

2. 18+ Only. No Minors.

All content is restricted to adults 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). The AgeGate and persistent disclaimers enforce this. By accessing LanternPass you represent and warrant that you are 18+.

3. All Arrangements Are Direct and Private

Any contact, arrangements, or transactions occur solely and directly between consenting adults. LanternPass does not participate, supervise, guarantee, or take any payment for services. Use of any “intro request” form is a convenience only and does not constitute facilitation.

4. Data, Moderation & Self-Listings

Self-listings submitted via /list begin in pending moderation status with isPublished=false. They become visible only after explicit approval by moderators and setting published=true. Photos uploaded to R2 are also moderated.

PULL data is immutable read-only via the views. We use only published/adult-gated records.

Users (self-listers) own and control their APP_DB profiles (subject to removal for legal or policy violations).

5. The Pass Membership

Paid tiers provide additional search features, saves, and (at Premium) enhanced direct discovery tools and priority matching assistance (directory-only convenience features). Subscriptions are recorded in APP_DB. All payments processed externally; LanternPass never handles service payments or acts as intermediary.

6. Compliance & Liability

You agree to use LanternPass only in full compliance with the laws of Thailand and your jurisdiction. LanternPass disclaims all liability for user actions, accuracy of listings, or outcomes of any arrangements. We provide published/safety-gated data only.

Self-listings and PULL records may be removed at any time for compliance or quality reasons.

7. Intellectual Property & Conduct

Brand assets, code, and aggregated data are property of LanternPass. Do not scrape, copy, or misuse listings. Respect practitioner privacy and data ownership.

8. 100% Cloudflare Infrastructure

Next.js on OpenNext (Workers + Pages), dual D1 (PULL_DB read-only views + APP_DB), R2 for images, KV for sessions. No long-running work. Bindings used for all secrets.
